soltani 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Someone asked him to pose and he did it because of that person; I think if I had asked, he would have never done it. Your suggestions / comments mean alot. Thank you. Link to comment
soltani 0 Posted September 8, 2006 I can't believe I only got 6 ratings for this photo; no comment, so few ratings, what does this mean? If it wasn't even worth posting come and tell me, I will appreciate it. Link to comment
tad doxsee 0 Posted September 9, 2006 Nice photo and composition. In my eyes, at least, the spot of light around his mouth is a little distracting. Other than that, nice job. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted June 5, 2007 I find the light on the lower part of his face a nice accent or punctuation mark, as it were. His eyes still are piercing and engaging and that is where my attention is led. I like the naturalness of this portrait. The man in very mundane and humble surroundings, with a strong face and character. I even like the guy in the background whose profile is cut off. It leaves something mysterious to wonder about. I love the way the urn picks up the light. Even though there is a lot of background, it is not distracting. It simply serves to locate the man. This is a real photo in which the photographer did not get in the way and conveyed a genuine moment in time. Link to comment
