byronlawrence 0 Posted September 7, 2006 the water looks like it has stuff floating on it, this gives a dirty look to the photo. for such an abstract thought IMO i like to see a little cleaner look. I like the idea though Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted September 7, 2006 eeeww. I swam there not 5 minutes before (maybe that's why? :-) I think it was a little dirty but mainly it had this screwy black bottom with sparkly crap that in some ways made for great reflections, but in others not (the sparkly crap showed through even though the black helped with contrast) I think you're mainly seeing the sparkles in the bottom of the pool Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted September 7, 2006 Jeff does your camera have a Burst Mode which allows you to get multiple photos over a short period of time? I get 5 photos in about 2 seconds so then I can select the best of the five for this type of image. I would have liked to see a little more definition to the metal crisscross pattern on the chair in the center. Using burst mode might have provided this.PS, I knew it was sparkles all along... jmoody 0 Posted September 7, 2006 I've got a burst mode, but don't think I've ever used it. Funny thing is, the very next shot I took (I usually squeeze off 2 pretty close) came out much more blurry. I liked the warping more, but almost no sharpness at all. I'll have to try out the machine-gun approach though. It should sound professional if nothing else :-) Link to comment
samcisa 0 Posted January 19, 2007 "eeeww. I swam there not 5 minutes before (maybe that's why? :-)" :D, :D, :D... But seriously, as Byron said, it is missing 'cleaner look'. Otherwise, very good looking photo. Link to comment
