canonfodder 0 Posted September 6, 2006 David, I can understand why you composed this shot the way you did... presumably to give foreground interest in the shape of the rock. However, I think this would have worked better if you had gone for more of that ominous sky in the shot and had the viaduct leading into the shot. This would have meant getting closer to the viaduct and shooting from more acute an angle. Nice exposure though with the ND Grad working well. Chris. Link to comment
david morgan 0 Posted September 6, 2006 I tend to agree with Chris, there's a large vacant space in the middle of this and a viewpoint closer to the viaduct may have been better. I too like the sky and natural colour in this. Link to comment
davidpemberton 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Thanks for taking time to comment. I took a number of different angles/perspecives and this was the first of the bunch taken as I approached the viaduct. I will post other pics closer to and from different perspectives Many thanks and Regards David Link to comment
tokarcik 0 Posted September 6, 2006 This one is great! Love the contrast, the scenery, blue + green + a stone in foreground (white - grey). Great shot David Link to comment
