Yes it is very nice! How long did he have to stand there without moving before you were able to take the shot? I'm hoping the water temperatures were not in the low 50s.

I favor the treatment of light and water, though I rather see the boy's back as in your other version (of same). It allowed my imagination to have a free-er range. Hope this makes sense. Regards, ~d.d.

Shawn: I have a new filter, B+W ND which I had a chance to play with. He had to be still for only 3 to 4 seconds at a time. Water was cold to me but for my son if theirs no ice on the surface, it's great. I believe it was in the mid 60's. Thanks for your comments.

 

~d.d.: Thank you for your insight on this image. To me, a moment in time can create such different feeling. This image has the same lake and child but he is now facing us. The mood is completely different now. The power of a image. Just my thoughts run wild. Thanks again.
