leif_rudd 0 Posted March 7, 2002 robert, i bet the foreground's dark because the background is bright. phil, have you got a neutral-density grad? you could have put it to good use here to make this (nevertheless) good picture better. Link to comment
matthew_johnson 0 Posted March 7, 2002 I agree that a grad filter would have worked better but I love the brown tones. Link to comment
tak_ming_leung 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Your masterpiece definitely deserves a spot in the National Gallery of Photographic Arts! Masters like you should be honored with a solid "10"!!! Link to comment
peter_beal1 0 Posted March 19, 2002 I think what make a lot of your photos as good as what they are is use of layers of brightness as in this photo, while it seems in some of your other photos you have layers of differant sharpness, or tones of colors. It is all very subtle but very effective. It is an excellant skill you have in being able to achieve that. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 3, 2003 This landscape seems so lonely as if man not even had the right to touch it... How did it feel to walk across this overwhelming, Lord-of-the-Ring-like mountains? Link to comment
