Strong looking hands with a delicate flower, I like the balance.

This is a beautiful image, but the focus is a little soft (looks like something I might have done), and there is something at the base of the two middle fingers that I find a bit distracting. Very clever idea though.

I think the hand and flower is an interesting concept, but I am not too fond of the 'first person' position of the hand.

While the concept is not a new one, I think this is an acceptably fresh approach, and a fine illustration of the strength/beauty idea. I personally am very fond of the use of isolated color in photo illustration, and practice it often; I believe it is used very effectively here. These days it's so much easier in the digital realm than hand-coloring B&W. I have two criticisms (hoperfully constructive). First, I too am distracted by the rings (?) on the fingers (BTW these could be easily eradicated digitally!) Second, I am distracted by the background of "nothingness" (looks like asphalt pavement to me), and perhaps might have cropped into the subject a bit more. Nice job.
