Exceptional photo! I am an amapteur so I know we all appreciate constructive feedback but I can see a thing with this I would change. Absolutely amazing catch.

Definitely an eye-catching shot with great light and colours. If I could change one thing, I'd like to see a bit more of the foreground and a little less of the top of the sky, but that's just personal preference.

Indigo/Purple sky and blue light everywhere... the constructions are really out of place here and the orange flowers disorientate me... What is the focus point? I find this really kitschy. Sorry.

An eye catching photo upon first glance. The longer I looked at it though, the less I liked it. The colors seem overly saturated and unnatural to me, as do the dodging and burning. Although not a huge concern, the composition seems a little more centered than I would like. In the end I get more of the feeling of a painted background from The Wizard of Oz movie than I do of a landscape photo... "follow the blue brick road...". Overly saturated and unnatural coloring seems to be favored by participants on this site, so you should do well with the ratings and critiques. I'm just offering a minority view, no doubt, in hopes you'll consider it with the shared goal of becoming better at our art. In return, if you would be so inclined, feel free to visit my portfolio and return the "favor". My skin is thick, as long as the critique is sincere. Regards, Steven.

I think the colors here are at least close to what you saw, with the exception of a noticeable magenta cast thoughout the sky and blues on the exposed roads. This is NOT oversatuated like a lot of the junk I see here and I can't find that damage has been done to the image because of levels adjustment. The colors actually look very Velvia like to me, though the famous slide film was indeed a bit much for some people's taste (you'll never please everyone) There is some dodge/burning evidence, but we've been doing that forever and I don't find it to be terribly intrusive or effecting the aesthetic impact too much. Is the darkening around the edges of the plateu from a grad filter or dodge/burn? both? - that is a minor problem for me. I'm really impressed with the highlight control. The composition also works for me and I don't personally find much out of place. This is art afterall, so there is never a right answer. Just weighing in with a few thoughts.
