I thing vertical would look good as well, but I really like the horizontal. My reasons for that involve the very subject of the image and the environment affected by their stampede. The dust clouds and rock gives you more of a feeling of the steepness of their ascent.

The charging is centered which gives you the feeling they are coming right at you.

I'm sure a vertical would look great, but I'm not convinced it would look better. I like the additional detail and story from this aspect of the image.

I love this photograph. I can't belive someone rated this 4/4. Another one of Vadims photos (two eagles fighting) also got 4/4 from someone. I've seen some fantastic photos on this site get some very bad rateings. I just don't understand.

Masterpiece/.

...is an amazing image. But I find the watermark to be very distracting. It doesn't seem to bother anyone else, so I guess it's just me. lol

I'm waiting to see if I can get past it before I give a rating on this remarkable shot.

What an amazing capture. I love the light pouring through the dust and mist.

Its too bad about the watermark, but when you are shooting this good, you might need to protect your art.

I seldom rate, except to add to my favourites list. This one goes on my favs.

However, they wanted to know what you thought of their cropping and manipulations.
