colecaj 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Beautiful capture. Did you get several in series or a lone shot? Amazing. Link to comment

rafikrkamel 1 Posted September 3, 2006 Vadim this is one of the most original action wildlife shots i have ever seen, the moment captured is awesome and the sort of dusty surrounding adds a very nice touch, best regards, RK! Link to comment
yongbo 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Maybe portrait mode is better than landscape, and unfortunately, your lens can't zoom. :) Impressive. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted September 3, 2006 What a scene ! Impressive timing and light. A vertical (portrait) format would indeed seem a lot more appropriate here. Still, you can crop this to a square if you wish to avoid having so much "wasted" space by the left and right sides. Link to comment

Guest Posted September 3, 2006 Awesome wildlife shot. I don't agree with some of the other comments that this would look better in portrait format. This would only crop out some of the dust and water, which I think, adds drama to the picture and shows the animals in their natural environment. Very well done! Link to comment
dancingdove 0 Posted September 3, 2006 I will echo Lol C's views and comments. Brave is one word that also comes to mind. Great capture of light and movement! ~ Link to comment
rich_evans 0 Posted September 4, 2006 This is perhaps the finest image of this annual event that I've ever seen - you've captured the dynamics of the crossing and your timing on this shot was perfect - I wouldn't change a thing, composition or exposure - perfect. I rarely rate images anymore but yours gets one of my top rates 7/7. --Rich Link to comment
