ransford 0 Posted September 2, 2006 Some children were playing, poking their heads through this Alexander Calder sculpture at the National Gallery and I got this lovely girl to pose for me. Link to comment

stephen hazelton 3 Posted September 2, 2006 I'm not the expert, but that looks like it would be a great set-up for studio work. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 3, 2006 Ransforsd, it is a very nice composition, good placement of the girl. what I'm not sure and is a bit distrating my eyes is her hand. I tried to clone it , what do you think? Link to comment
ransford 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Thanks for the comments. This girl was part of a beautiful family visiting the museum. She had three brothers playing around the sculpture, but my pictures of them did not work out. It's a great frame, Stephen, but there's nothing like having a great model. Link to comment
ransford 0 Posted September 3, 2006 I, too, wondered about the hand. It is possible this is her brother's hand, since they were all playing in this sculpture together. Here's the image without the hand. Link to comment
ransford 0 Posted September 3, 2006 When I first pulled up your comment, your image did not show up. How do you like my new version?Ransford Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 3, 2006 Ransford, that is exactly what I thought, you handled it more carfully and better than I did, but it enhanced the composition imo. very nice one! Link to comment
