jrjacobs 0 Posted September 1, 2006 This was a tricky exposure for me. The lighting had quite a range, and I wanted to use a polarizer to get contrast and a deep blue sky. I was shooting Provia 400f which already has limited lattitude, and the polarizer made it even less. I metered on the brightly lit stump to give it the highest exposure I could manage without burning out the details, and then let everything else fall where it would. I am happy with the results - but would really apprecitate comments/critiques on this one. Thanks!! Link to comment

jrjacobs 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Thanks for the comment. It is unmanipulated. I was at 9000' elevation and shooting with a polarizer, which caused the intense blue sky. Link to comment
