The sequence is terrific and quite clever, though I must confess I love the first picture as a standalone. The solitary figure with the swatch of red amid the tracks and swirls on the sand is great.

It looks so dry and hot, Pnina, I am surprised she isn't following the more natural lines of the shore; I think this girl must be quite obedient at school and in the home!

Jack , interesting observation !

Seven, Interesting evaluation of the child's character, I tend to agree ;-))

Joe, thanks for your kind words and impressions

Cherlyn, Mark and Spencer, Interesting to read your preferences.

Thanks again to all of you, Pnina

The ones where she's alone make her look quite vulnerable...such a little figure in what seems a great expanse. I love the textural aspects of this too Pnina.

Pnina, I second Jack in his observations. Although I enjoyed your presentation very much (big big smile), I think we can guess what is happening looking at the main photograph only. Maybe turning your camera a little bit towards the bottom right corner would make things completely clear, but I realized that the girl has taken the diversion before I scrolled down so your image is successful in this respect. The following photo would do the job even better. So please, do not move to Beverly Hills ;-) as it would be a great loss for us. Regards, Michal.

I really like this whole sequence. It really shows how you photograph. I like the woman alone and then with the blue umbrellas. Great.

Michal, I promis you not to pass to "Beverly Hills", even I have recived 10 invitations.. lol. I have started to follow her, and it was interesting to see the path she was taking. I have uploaded them according to my preferance and not necessarily in the order all of them were taken. Thanks for your detailed impressions Michal.

Sarah, thanks for liking , but look again it is a little girl;-))

Sondra, we were written to each other simultaneously, I like your blue/white landscape! Thanks for your comment and visit.

Nice series, Pnina. From lonesome to crowded in four photos. And I like the positioning of the girl in the main photo - like she has a long way to go. Excellent.

Best Regards,

Barry

interesting series Pnina! At first the boy is so lost despite all the marks with his red ring, it looks like on a desert road. Thanks for also showing the truth!

I am impressed with how you selected a fascinating shot from the wheel marks on the beach. The child following the lines adds a great centre of human interest

Thanks, Barry, Howard, Andrea and Colin.it was very interesting to follow the path she was taking. Seven S. comment about her everyday character is another dimention that is hinted from her path choosing.

That's a nice image and nicely composed. The red buoy makes a point but IMO the composition is the strong point of this image, along with the tracks on the sand.

The process she walked is the process she thought...? Sharp image with simple&strong composition is your trademark. Good use of x1.4 TC. Vivid yellow, blue and red accentuate this sequence.

Thoughtful and enticing series. IMO this one is more appealing than the others, I guess that's why you chose to post this one. This is one of those pictures that let you thinking for a while, and also of the kind of images that come to mind when thinking about some feelings or abstract terms and how to portray them effectively. Indeed a remarkable work, I'm just glad I found it.
