I see this every day, imm looking at it right now. But i've never seen it as i did the other day, there was somethign different and so i got it in this shot.

Sky could do with a little contrast, and can anyone tell me why i get

the 'bleed' around the edges of the twigs\small branches etc.

I've just noticed,when loking at it on large, that the tree is quite out of focus. My bad

neat shot very contrasty. I'm not sure I understand your comment about the "bleed" I saw you posted again saying something to do with blurry. Maybe try a tripod and small apeture to get all the fine detail in focus. That is the only thing I can think of to get all of the small limbs in focus of course with that kinda storm it looked like approaching the wind may be a factor as well. Great shot interesting pic.
