anthonyd 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I guess if you are trying to show human nature at its' worst, you've achieved that. By I could do without the subject matter as well. -Anthony Link to comment
xenomer 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Thank you very much for your comments. Yes the goal was to show a shocking moment. This picture was taken at a show, the scene is part of a show, the people on the photo are actors. As I'm not a native English speaker could you please desribe what subject matter means in this case? Is it means that I choosen a wrong (maybe not ethical) topic for the photo? Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Showing a woman being brutalized is not something that I find appealing in any way. Personally, I like photos with a shock value to them. But considering the situation that the actors are portraying, I don't like this one. -Anthony Link to comment

scot_cross 0 Posted December 31, 2006 Freedom of speech and all you can shoot what you like. It is shot well but I see you defiantly left out the mans face in this. I think its a bit of a waste to take such a beautiful woman (or any for that matter) and shoot her like this. That is the beauty of freedom though. You shot it and I commented about it :) Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted January 2, 2007 We all have the right to shoot and display almost anything we'd like. We also have the right to state our opinions about what is posted. Freedom of speech is there to protect what we disagree with not what we agree with and it works both ways. I did not say that Xenomer shouldn't post this or should remove it. I simply stated my opinion about it and explained why I felt that way when asked. Nothing more, nothing less. -Anthony Link to comment
larsmith 0 Posted June 22, 2007 I'm intrigued by the observation that it seems, from some comments, that this photo is more offensive to some due to the violence to women more so than violence to an Indian woman ( If I'm reading this photo correctly ). If these actors were portraying violence to an Indian man, would this photo be less offensive and/or more acceptable ? Just a thought. Link to comment
