dusty2004 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I am new to photo shop. My previous image in colour drew some comments that I am not familiar with. What are some of the steps one should take to improve an image but so as not to be artificial or create undesirable effects. I hope you get my drift. Thank you all. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 28, 2006 It's the same image converted to b&w so the problems are the same. You should be able to see that the photo is very pixelated and has a lot of noise, especially when view Larger. What that means is that the image is not sharp or has smooth edges; instead when viewed Larger, you can see things like alternating squares of different colors, no smooth transition. For example, check out the clouds when viewed Larger. It happens on your other images also. It's hard to help you unless the viewers know your process. Is the digitized image scanned from a photo? The overexposed cloud area is a bit distracting also. Link to comment
dusty2004 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Thank you Thai. I am learning new skills and appreciate your input. I am slowly gaining knowledge. I now now what digital noise is. Much more to learn though. Thanks. Link to comment
