giovannis 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Thanx all for viewing and commenting. If you have suggestions for improving mountain shots, you are very welcome. I know the dominant colour is blue, but this is somewhat intentional (is it too much?) Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Beautiful image Giovanni. I would like to see a bit more white on the ridge to make a sharp contrast to the blue sky, but it is lovely as it is too. Congrats....LJ Link to comment
imh 0 Posted August 27, 2006 I like the blue (and the beautiful curve), I think possibly a touch less blue but you wouldn't want to loose those white ridges... I'm expecting to see this in my next National Geographic ;-) Cheers Ian Link to comment
davenwar 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Great photo Giovanni. The composition is perfect, and so is the light. For me, it's a bit too much blue, cause it seems more like a mistake than something intentional without the explanation. However, if you know it's on purpose, it's beautiful. How about B&W? I think it could be nice, given the lines and composition. Link to comment
Link to comment
Karl Schuler 48 Posted August 28, 2006 It is a powerful shot with simple lines. The three climbers are the icing on the cake. I am not convinced about the blue cast in the snow. Karl Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted August 28, 2006 The composition gives this great power and impact. The climbers are a vital element, giving the scene much needed scale. I agree some blueness is not necessarily bad but I think I would like to see the snow a little more white. Link to comment
biswajit 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Excellent shot dear Giovanni, so beautiful and pleasing composition, great work. Regards Link to comment

martino_balestreri 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Fantastica...e faticosa...bella la composizione con la linea della cresta che ti porta dritto in cima. Bravo! Ciao. Link to comment
forrest_andrew 0 Posted August 30, 2006 awesome, powerful image. composition is wonderful, lighting dramatic. the wispy, backlit clouds make the shot. Link to comment
gdanmitchell 0 Posted August 30, 2006 Lovely light and - as I'm sure you already know - the sweep of the foreground ridgeline leads the eye directly to the climbers and the sunlit area. Link to comment
icerock 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Well taken picture and rea榹 beautiful, I think less blue in snow is better .. ice Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 303 Posted September 6, 2006 I would just remove the hello effect around the figures! No other comments, picture speaks for itself! Cheers my friend! Link to comment
razvan 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Excelent perspective, the dominant blue is very good, it makes you feel the cold of the mountain. Very good light, it has some mistery, great photo! Link to comment
bhandari1951 0 Posted September 9, 2006 a very nice composition with EXCELLENT details and colour tones... Link to comment
alfredo orihuela 0 Posted October 3, 2009 This is a good example of the big dilemma of pixel count... Only you know what happened here. I say this image is awesome and also that it fell short of resolution... F_K never thought i would ever say that. What I would do: Increase the overall grain count(grain) and search for the filmy look on this ;) PS is probably the page... Link to comment
