radu craiu 0 Posted April 10, 2002 Excellent shot! The whole composition blows my mind - she expresses the right mood - nice title too. Link to comment
irene_devissaguet 0 Posted June 4, 2003 Ha ... she's probably Greek (correct Ottoman to Byzantine)! Link to comment
faith_vanderverter 0 Posted July 18, 2004 Congratulations. Very well done. Composition, colors, story, everything works well here. PS. I cannot help but notice the racist comment by the previous reviewer. This is what we need less of at not just at photo.net but in the world also. Link to comment
kostak 0 Posted December 28, 2004 Very nice shot. About the previous 2 comments. Not racist, just uninformed. It is my understanding that the palace where this picture was taken was built in the mid-1800's, long after the fall of Constantinople on May 29th, 1453. But enough history, this website is about photography. Link to comment
mendel_leisk 0 Posted December 23, 2006 I like this a lot. Just curious, did you leave the lint and dust in for effect, or just didn't get around to it. Link to comment
claudio ghizzoni 0 Posted December 23, 2006 great snap, amazing model and great location, i love the atmosphere of this frame. congratulaion. Claudio Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted December 24, 2006 First: Kosta is correct and Irene incorrect! The Byzantine Empire was followed by the Ottoman, long after the fall of Constantinople (now Istanbul).Second: As Mendel has pointed out, the lint and dust destroy the value of the end product. Great original photo but not for framing.Regards, Dave Link to comment
