I stick my neck out and upload a photo of one of the most

photographed buildings in the world. Comments and ratings are much

appreciated as always. Thanks for viewing.

It's hard to get an original shot of such a well-photographed landmark, but this one really stands out. Great shot.

Hi Michael. I have seen may Eiffel Tower shots. This is the most stunning to date. I like your choice of black and white. Great and dramatic sky not so sure about the jet streaks. I guess that is personal. Well seen and executed. Cheers.

Mucht better than the many touristic shots you can buy. All those postcard photographers should get more creative. But maybe the tradtional tourist finds this too special...

Michael, I see that you even when you go to Paris, you bring your dramatic skies with you. You seem even to have convinced planes to fly over the city, which is strictly forbidden ! Very good photo of one of the most photographed scenes in the world, which you have managed to put your special touch on - as usual.

Thanks all of you for the kind comments.

Stephen and Roy, basically, I do not like contrails. However, if you stretch your imagination a bit, you may say they add to the composition in this case.

Anders, thanks for your kind words. However, I am not quite sure how to understand the part about bringing the sky with me and having the planes to fly in a forbidden area. Maybe you assume that the photo is a composite having another sky put in, but that is not the case. It is a product of two conversions from raw with different settings for exposure to avoid the clouds to burn out.

Michael, I saw this as one photo and no PS additions. My remark is only made because planes have passed by and no planes are allowed to overfly the centre of Paris apart form the 14th of July. Wind brings however these clouds over Paris as on your photo. You always seem to be at the right moment at the right place with optimal formation of clouds. That's also what make a very good photographer.

Excellent composition Michael! I love this point of view. I like the treatment you've given to the image, but in my opinion the tone is a bit cold for this image... I would emphasize the rusty tone of the metal, I really think it would be more appropiated... anyway, a fabulous image, I love it. Congratulations Michael.

Best regards. Agustin David.
