dusty2004 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Taken on a holiday trip in New Zealand. Took many hours of driving to get here. It was worth it don't you think so. Link to comment
chicodovale 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Roy, Milford Sound is a magic place. I was lucky three years ago when I could visit that place and take some photos. I lived in NZ for 6 months. You got a perfect reflections and colors of the clouds are excellent. Congratulations. 7/7 Link to comment
robert_root 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Ahhh... Middle Earth. Beautiful photograph. The contrast of calm waters and stark mountains is perfect. Keep up the good work. Link to comment
martin_paul 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Very beautiful. I might not post it so big as someone could easily take your image. Regards, Martin. Link to comment
dusty2004 0 Posted August 26, 2006 Thank you all. Lucky you Francisco, all I had was one single afternoon. Martin, thanks for the warning, I would be flattert if someone actually did use it. Anyway I did say I wanted to leave the world a little better. If that is the way than so be it. I don't think I will be any worse for it. Thanks all, cheers. Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted August 27, 2006 Oh Man! This just screams Black and White! I'd definitely make a conversion attempt if I were you. The high contrasts and monotone nature of the landscape would be perfect for a B&W rendering. Stunning atmosphere and nice composition.....well I haven't made up my mind about those weeds in the water...but otherwise perfect. Large version: I am very disappointed with the quality seen large. Considerable damage has been done to the image while processing. Noise, oversharpening, blotchy details thoughout, the whole works. Needs major corrections and reworking. Link to comment
dusty2004 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Thank you Marc. I am still learning how to use photo shop and the like. I will try a black and white image. Thanks for the enthusiastic response. I can almost see you jumping about. Cheers. Link to comment
