I wasn't sure the name of the wat in this picture at first (there are numerous temples in Luangphabang near each other); thanks to Cedar for pointing out the incorrect caption.

Incorrect title, this is the temple building on the grounds of the National Museum, formerly the king's palace, Wat Mai is just down the road, and is faced back to the sun in the afternoon.

 

This photo is interesting, but lose 10% of the bottom to improve the composition somewhat.
