alberto.conde 0 Posted September 10, 2006 I agreee with Pnina's comment for Charles Dickens is what came to my mind as well. Fascinating how you captured the intense attention of the boys in the firts rank. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted September 26, 2006 This is a touching picture Colin because of the captured strong interaction between the 'Master/teacher' and his 'pupils'. I imagen that the blacksmith most have told about his profession with whole his heart because it's not so easy to hold the attention of the present-day youth. Concerns the easthetics of the picture; it's excellent. Wonderful soft light which falls in through the window and lightens so beautiful the little girl's face. The colourtones and light create a wonderful subdued mood which reminds me (just like Pnina mentioned) to the ages of Dickens; the Victorian period of England. This scene warms my soul, Colin! Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kind comment to my picture, Ada:-) Link to comment
