themegalomaniac 0 Posted August 22, 2006 I always wondered if I could effectively capture a brilliantly colored blue butterfly in black and white ... what do you think ? Link to comment
zephyrqueen69 0 Posted August 22, 2006 I believe you captured it very well! It has a chromatic effect to it. It seems as if the light is hitting it's wings where the color is lighter. ..but it's just an illusion. The DOF is also very good. I LIKE it! Link to comment
J. Perez 0 Posted August 22, 2006 You gave yourself a rather difficult task and you succeeded. The light bands on the wings make the picture. Are they produced by natural light, artificial light, or photoshop? Good job! Cheers, J Link to comment
fotodaniella 0 Posted August 22, 2006 Very good! I think your question is positive answer on this image, the tone is very nice and details and brilliance on the butterfly are fantastic! Regards, Daniella. Link to comment
berryl 0 Posted August 22, 2006 I can't put my finger on it but I really like this shot. It might be the cromatic look yet it has a velvet at the same time. Nice photo and congrats on getting what you went after. Berryl Link to comment
