squirrelman 0 Posted March 2, 2002 Nice shot. I'm wondering if it would have been possible to find an angle to get the moon in this shot as well? That would have really been spectaculor. Link to comment
gauthier 0 Posted March 2, 2002 You're right, Michael, but it still was low on the horizon, then; I noticed it about 20 minutes after I took this shot, but then spent a lot of time on a series of pictures of the dome + moon. Including a sizeable chunck of the tower in the middle of the trees with the 200 mm lens (to get a fair sized moon) would have been difficult. Link to comment
squirrelman 0 Posted March 2, 2002 Oh well, you can always use Photoshop to paste the moon in . Link to comment
craig_kunitsky 0 Posted March 7, 2002 I really like this picture...I have never seen it done this way... Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Like it, normally such amount of tree and branches would mess it up, but because the trees are "naked" and have this deep blue sky behind, it works. Link to comment
richard_vezina 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Le contraste est vraiment spectaculaire! belle composition! Link to comment
yale__ernest 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Phil, great composition and subject, the blue is a bit too dark and saturated for my taste but otherwise it's very good. Link to comment
angus_bromide 0 Posted June 6, 2002 Gotta love those oft neglected "entry level" normal lenses from the Golden Age. They have amazing resolution, beautiful contrast, do remarkable work, and sell for peanuts! BTW you've got a fantastic eye for composition and color. Link to comment
