I really like this, Drew! I took photos of these things when I was in CA, but haven't done anything with them. I think they're quite fascinating. I like the B&W, and what great clouds!

Kim, Thanks for the comment. I've been away for months. It looks like the critics have gotten tougher. The hardest part about shooting this scene is that the best angles are right on the freeway. It is often tough to pull over.

Thanks Zach. It is the subtle tonality that makes this one of my favorite images that I have captured lately. It is rare to find a set of completely white subjects set at different angles to the sun. The low clouds and windmills play off each other with the exactly the same light reflection.

It does seem like the ratings are lower overall than they used to be. I'm supposed to be improving, and I get a lot more 3's than ever before. I didn't even look at your ratings on this; I just like it!
