Guest Guest Posted August 23, 2006 You've really got an interesting eye Linda.BTW, if you don't know Paul's work, I advice you to have a look. Beyond some similarities between your both look, I think you could like his way. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted August 26, 2006 thank you all! Kent, i have to admit your work has been a big influence, and i was thinking about you when i shot and processed this one. Yann, thank you for directing me to Paul's work. i do feel an affinity to many of his images. i can see why thought i should visit him. Link to comment
kentb2 0 Posted August 26, 2006 Well Linda I don't know if that's a good thing or not but thank you. You may find this a strange coincidence. I shot this two weeks ago in Hawaii. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted August 26, 2006 OMG! that is freaky! i went and checked to see if you had already posted your red cart and maybe i had un-intentionally copied. i hope you don't think i am trying to copy your work...just learn from it. from the first image i saw of yours back in february, your work really resonated with me. so, i will chalk this down to strange co-incidence! (my husband thinks it is some kind of jungian psychic connection....) Link to comment
kentb2 0 Posted August 26, 2006 Yeah, I thought that would freak you out. I was amazed myself. Pretty cool. Thanks for your kind support Linda. You've got the eye. Link to comment
DrewBayless 3 Posted March 6, 2007 I was thinking this had a Kent B kind of feel before I scrolled down...now that is freaky! Your technical execution has to be very good to evoke such comparison Linda ;-) Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 8, 2007 This is the best of the bunch. A very original composition and surprising colors such as you occasionally come up with (that odd and delightful picture of the girl in the pool comes to mind). The light here is just what you hoped for, I'd guess. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted March 9, 2007 thank you Drew and Jack. you know Drew, the processing on this one was just dumb luck. don't know if i could go back and do the same thing again. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 23, 2008 I like the bright red of the cart against the otherwise colorless background. Really nice. Link to comment
vladimirovna 1 Posted June 16, 2008 You have just one object but you used all the elements in this photo for your composition (shadows, ground) and that is remarkable. I just love this photo, it's somehow different. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted December 29, 2009 the late light is so interestingly bringing to color to reach their best quality.... Link to comment
