tonybrown 0 Posted August 20, 2006 At 8:50pm on 17th July 2006 a tornado cut a swath 200 feet wide through our wooded cottage property. The cottage in the centre of the path miraculously escaped serious damage but we lost almost all our trees. This photo was taken during the fierce electrical storm that followed. I had to manipulate the photo to remove the effect of the mosquito netting. I tried to capture the intensity of the storm. Any thoughts? Tony Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted August 20, 2006 Tony, I am glad that you survived from that storm! This looks like a rather fierce moment, even on the monitor... I like the story and I like the image. The grain is a bit annoying, but knowing the background information, it is more than understandeable. Good capture! Link to comment
tonybrown 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Alpo: Thanks for your kind words. An angel must have been directing the traffic during the tornado. Best wishes, Tony Link to comment
