John Peri 1,034 Posted August 20, 2006 An intriguing composition. It could be interesting also with a human element included somewhere (for example peering ovver the top balcony!), but still a nice photo. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 20, 2006 Beautiful title for an as well beautiful photo. Impressive stairs indeed! You've succeeded to convey the movement by using a nice exposure, enhancing the more lightened part of the staircase in its center and playing with the darker parts like a natural vigneting.Arabesques are captivating and participate to hypnotize the viewer's eyes in the dance of this snake. sawicki 0 Posted August 22, 2006 Perfect composition. Everything seems to be in the right place. I agree with John that a touch of humanity here would be very suitable. But anyway - great photo. Link to comment

delp 0 Posted August 23, 2006 This one took off quite impressively I have to say; THANK YOU for your nice comments. This image will be part of a presentation I will create soon, as I have spent my last saturday in this place. I thought the images I got were worth to share !The trigger for going back there was a presentation of the art critique "Roger Marx". This exhibition is a wonderful story teller, and show how Roger Marx supported Art and Artists in the late 1800s, early 1900s.- John, thank you for your comment. In this image, I didn't include any characters, but that's true it would give a scale to the whole ensemble. I did previously include people in this stairs already here.- Yann, in a poetic mood lately ! Thank you my friend.- Pnina, that's an idea, I will see what I can do without breaking the perspective too much. Cheers !- Hanna, thanks for the compliment ! Did you mean architecture and epured images are my element ? Cheers !- Polina, you absolutely need to visit me it seems ;) This one is in Nancy, at the museum of fine arts.- Sophia, Thank you !- Florin, Cheers !- Pawel, I agree with John too, it seems that you both share a love for portraiture and humans take an important place in your images, which is less my case I guess ;) My preference naturally goes to empty spaces ;)- Klaus, thanks a lot for your compliment, this is much appreciated !
