pnital 36 Posted August 20, 2006 Fits the theme PT. Negative space compositionaly as well as the mental context.Nice execution with the gray color wall ( double meaning also...) my only nit is her face expression which is not exacly transfering the mental feeling, his face expression is more compatible. Well done Pt. Link to comment
nirakara 0 Posted August 20, 2006 I really like this idea of showing negative space both visually and conceptually. A b&w treatment on this would be nice too. I made slightly bluish tones for this to emphasize what seems like 'coldness' between the two. I hope you don't mind. Chitra Link to comment
lucyhollis 2 Posted August 20, 2006 I was thinking about this sort of topic...along the lines of cats in a territorial standoff. But this works really well. The cold expanse of the stonework helps portray the negativity too. I like the work of Chitra on the colour. Link to comment
htc 0 Posted August 21, 2006 I like the interpretation of the theme PT, and i think there is much to talk about this picture. I like the BW version better since it emphasises the space and possible all negative things aroutn Technically i find it a little bit un-sharp but overall a nice addition to this theme cheers, calin Link to comment
steven lundberg 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Good theme fit, clever and interesting composition. I prefer the increased contrast of the B&W version, and feel it adds to the overall intention. Very nice idea and execution. Link to comment
giuseppe_miriello1 0 Posted September 6, 2006 this is original as interpretation of the theme... a negative space may be a distance between people... tecnically i would like to see more air at top and both sides of the subjects, panoramic crop is ok though, a bit more of contrast would be advisable. joelle1 0 Posted September 24, 2006 This is a brilliant use of the Negative Space theme! I do prefer the b/w version as it seems to add even more negativity to it. Top score! Link to comment
