I do like the colours of this - the orange and amber colours contrast/go well with each other. But I can't quite see what this photo is actually of, which distracts me! But maybe this is a boring response and I should throw myself full heartedly into appreciating the abstract quality of the image...although this may entail losing the theme of glass...

Good theme fit. I LOVE this image. Particulary the colors and all the patterns. From the lines in the bottom left corner to the dots under the arch, everything goes together so well. I think it would be nice if the glass on the left was in focus. I'm wondering PT, is this image munipulated? Either way, great shot! Megan

I like the photo, but the subject isn't well definded enough for my little brain to tell if it's a good theme fit or not. At any rate, it was interesting enought to capture my attention for a long while... a sure sign of a good photo. So, PT, what is it? Steven.

A good theme fit, I think, because of the appearance of glass on especially the left. I haven't a clue as to what this is but I like the off-beat composition of the colors. Nice work, PT; I can't think of a thing I'd change.

Thanks for the comments. As to what this is, it is simply the base of the glass you can see here. And it is resting on a table made of textured glass.

Different angle and good texture and tones, PT - well isolated from the larger picture. As a photo I might prefer a touch more definition, something to sink my eyes into, but I appreciate the take.

I like the abstract look of the composition, texture is nice as well as colors. I don't feel really the texture of glass though. So for me it is a well composed image PT.

I like the abstract nature of this one, while at the same time getting a very glassy feeling from it.

 

I feel that there's a slight pull of the eyes both left and right and so I wonder if there are not two possible crops in this. One would be the horizontal portion up and including about half of the glassy tunnel (ie crop away right 1/3 of the image). The other would focus on the speckled bit right part of the image which seems to me to be the most interesting (ie portrait format, having cropped away 3/5 off the left side).

 

As it is, is nice but there's a bit too much going on IMO. Very glassy and interesting (summery too!).
