tophie 0 Posted August 15, 2006 Great capture! My little girl does not like to do this when I have my camera around, but does it every other time. Ah, the joys of being a toddler! About the only thing I would change is including the top portion (if you have it) to include the hand and cup. -Tophie Link to comment
LorenzaF 0 Posted August 31, 2006 I love this b/w (I understand you shoot directly b/w with the camera, am I wrong?) and, needless to say, he is adorable. Only, I would have liked a less tight crop, to appreciate better the movement. However, the pure joy of a child playing with water is very well portrayed. Link to comment
rlk121 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Thank You Lorenza, I just recently started shooting in b&w with the camera. However in this particular picture I made it b&w in ps. The story here is that this was one of the first photos I shot with my Rebel. It had a lot wrong with it. The white balance was off and there was a real harsh shadow behind him on the wall. So I decided to play around with it in ps. Just a few weeks ago I started actually shooting in the b&w mode on the camera and I am happier with the results. However I do not care for the sepia mode on the Rebel. Maybe if I play around with that more I can adjust the controls to work better for me. thanks again for your comment, Becky Link to comment
