allan engelhardt 0 Posted March 18, 2002 Is this version a better crop than the oldone shown below? Link to comment
bob stewart jacksonville 0 Posted March 18, 2002 It's definitely a better crop. I might even think about getting more aggressive and crop out the gray sky entirely. One the dull sky detracts, Two, the story here is the bridge the coast line and the water, not the sky, and Three, high horizons tend to give a little different view of the world ( because not enough people use them) so it gives a fresh perspective. ty1 0 Posted March 18, 2002 Wow, I very much like the cropped one better. Great perspective and saturation despite the haze. Very nice. Link to comment
marlene_degrood 0 Posted March 19, 2002 Agree that this composition is much better. Very well done and I really like the saturated colors. Link to comment
ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted March 19, 2002 Hmm.. I like the increase green hue... easier to my eyes. Bridge looks cold... I like the original color on the bridge better. May be you can cut-and-paste the bridge and adjust the color only half the way? Link to comment
adam_macneil 0 Posted March 19, 2002 I like the croppped version better, however I don't care a lot for the green hue in the cropped version. If it was me, I would try adjusting brightness or contrast or something on the sky in the top left, just to see what else I could come up with. Really nice picture though Link to comment
dennismk 0 Posted March 22, 2002 But the image to me lacks something I call snap. Sets it apart from other of its type. you are close here.... but not quite there. With respect. Link to comment
