Ryan, I see this more as a vertical shot and closer but still off center. I don't find that much background, in this case, adds anything to the picture's "story". Best regards to you, --Dave

Does anyone feel this original had more of a story to it? I cut her out because I felt like her look was a little too subtle to have any real effect, and I hate the headset thingie with a passion.

Nice picture. I do prefer the edited version to the orignal.

 

On thing to look out for when you clone photos is repeating patterns in the edited area. In the tree especially but also on the road there are three clear bands where you have used the same pattern next close to each other.

 

Try copying the area to be cloned from into another window and flipping / streaching / morphing etc to change the pattern before you put it in.
