I like the position both of his right hand and his face in a down angle showing the bad thinking of all battles and wars. A great war portrait, but full of peace at the same time. bmm 0 Posted January 18, 2011 I follow very much the last critique. It is a very good reflective portrait, and makes the viewer think both about the reenactment and of the mood of the person. Compositionally you have a strong diagonal upwards-right from the rifle, and an offset downwards diagonal direction from the line of sight of the subject. Post-processing decisions are very appropriate for this image, in fact I like that you kept it in colour. Link to comment
