adamburton 0 Posted August 13, 2006 Taken yesterday at a dawn stop off en-route to see family in Somerset. Last time I visited this bay the tide was high on a moody day. On this visit the conditions were the exact opposite. A pleasant sunrise and very low tide, revealing these gorgeous green algae covered boulders. I pointed the camera down to maximise the wonderful colour and used my wide angle lens to also include the gorgeous first light on the cliffs. Within minutes the light on the cliffs was too strong, throwing out the balance of the photograph and ending my early morning stop-off. Back to the car by 6.30am to continue my trip to Somerset! mike l 0 Posted August 15, 2006 Beautiful stones in the foreground. The top half of the pic seems to be completely disjointed from the bottom half though. Link to comment
newfocus 0 Posted August 15, 2006 Wonderful shot as usual Adam, with a great foreground in particular. The hairy green rocks really add some interest. John. Link to comment
alinux33 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Those hairy green rocks looks very cool, there is also an contrast of colors between upper side of the image with warm tones and the lowest part with cool colors. A very nice shot Adam! Link to comment
stp 6 Posted September 18, 2008 The texture of the algae on the rounded rocks is an image in itself. Excellent landscape photograph. Link to comment
