ctanowitz 0 Posted August 16, 2006 I came away from Ground Zero in New York with several shots, but this one seemed to hit hard on many levels. I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Link to comment

olafdevries 0 Posted August 16, 2006 The meaning of the cross is going far beyond what happened over there. Placing this is to cheap. A new buildig mains a renewed "cash flowing." Remembering the killed ones, a part of the iron skeleton, seen over the whole world, would have been as much real as possible. And we perhaps should wonder if our western way of living isn't indeed "frustrating" for not-so-rich-people.(not saying the offenders were right (!)) So.. only that skeleton..,no sculpter/architect would have been able to improve that! Pride is providing in a new even higher money monument. But Pride will at the end have to fall. Poor big city, because then not only one building will be involved. We do indeed need to be crucified in the deep sense of it's meaning. (with respect, for over there now, what should one photograph else..)Regards (respecting Americans double too)from the Netherlands, Olaf. Link to comment
