All alone

A few months ago I worked on a documentary about Chernobyl.

Unfortunately things did not go as planned, but I still came back with

a few photos. This woman's name is Maria and she lives by herself in

an abandonned village near Chernobyl. Her two sons died three years

ago from cancer. She lives off of a small vegetable patch and help

from the soldiers who guard this area. If you want to see more

I would really appreciate any comments.

It's a sad story. Life must be very hard for her. Her portrait would probably be better without the cyclone fencing, but perhaps it adds symbolism. I'll look at your other images. Very, very interesting.
