An uneasy, end of the world feel to it. Cropping to improve the lines may hurt that. I like how the shape of the dark treeline mimicks the slither of yellow, like a foreboding of things to come...

What amazing conditions Aaron, that sky is marvellous. The overall feeling is great with loads of color richness, maybe the reason why some are declined by the unreal feelings. The diagonal road flows with the scene, and contrasts well with the RGB delightness. Did you steeped inside that field to photosee? Im sure there were great catchs over there too

Striking light, atmosphere and composition. The diagonals work perfectly! As a very minor point, I'm wondering where the reds on the grasses at left are coming from. Flare? Anyway, not to detract, this is an exceptional image!

Ferrando, I wish I did. I caught this just as it was finishing. Before this there was actually much more red on the diagonal cloud.

Marc, thanks, glad this caught your eye. It might be a bit of flare (I also see it on the road), but as the angle progresses, the wheat head separation decreases so there is more to catch the setting rays.

Granted, a wise photographer once told me that having a "point of interest" is sometimes overrated. Thanks for looking, Jaya.

Wonderful capture. This is the kind of weather that makes the prairies so special. Nicely done!
