Woman on the East Coast of Zanzibar

This is my favorite of the two shots. Great colors, great subject, great picture!

I prefer this one as it has a languid atmosphere that I would associate with a sight like this....you wouldnt catch me working (as i imagine her to be in the other pic) in a setting like this

i prefer this one for the larger expanse of background. both are wonderful color-studies.

Strong Image, the pink headdress and he red skirt came out well in balance. At first sight the white horizonal line appears a distraction but it seems adding a bit to the atmosphere on closer look !
