Monkey

It took me more than half an hour to take this photo. Wanting to have the monkey in front of the panoramic view of Katmandu city underneath, I was obliged to make the photo with a 28mm. Th monkey didn't agree. He did not want me to approach him very much. I was throwing some pinda's to pursuade him, but as soon as i stopped throwing to make the photo, he became angry and tried to bite me, which pleased the people overthere. Finnally after more than half an hour I managed to make this picture...

Marccuba, I agree with Hashim, good composition. The empty space to the left intensifies the feeling of isolation & the selective focus blurs any background reference which may deny this. I'm betting any apparent subject softness is due to the process of getting the original to my screen. Cropped a little tight on the bottom. A keeper in any case. Best, LM.

I love the vivid colour of the sky in the background and how it creates a sense of space behind the monkey. Great look!
