fotodaniella 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Your photo has a very good light, and like the reflection on the floor, well done! Link to comment
kenandrews 2 Posted August 8, 2006 Tom Keys -- Thanks for your wonderful question. I think the secret gravity-defying quality is the model's age (early 20s). I certainly (and unfortunately) had no part in the taping of any breasts. -- Ken Link to comment
kevin cassar 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Fantastic photo of a very beautiful girl. I can't give you much advice on the technical side since I am a beginner in these terms. What I can say though is that the beautiful face coupled with the captivating look in her eyes made it had for me to look at anything else. And with a body like hers I think that's a huge statement. Congratulations for your capture and thanks for sharing this beauty. Link to comment

nvanallens 0 Posted August 9, 2006 A lovely image as always. I never fail to wonder at your skin tones, and your experience and skill at lighting is obvious. Is there anything particular you do with your lighting to keep these skin tones? Do you shoot in raw, presumably with a custom white balance? Do you feel that the E-1 sensor contributes in any way? Have been wondering for months, had to ask. Thanks. Mike (Vancouver) Link to comment

kenandrews 2 Posted August 9, 2006 . . . for your kind comments. For lighting, I've been using Kino-Flo fluorescents, daylight balanced, for foreground key and fill, and two strobes to bounce light off the white seamless paper background. I also have a small Kino-Flo toplight hanging from the ceiling. I shoot RAW, and have found that 4800 degrees is about the right WB setting for my lighting. I convert the RAW files to .tifs using Olympus Studio, and then do a number of standard things in Photoshop, as well as per-photo individual adjustments. The standard things include USM and Noise Ninja. And yes, I love the tonal qualities produced by the E-1. Thanks for your interest. Link to comment
