lee guthrie 0 Posted August 8, 2006 I like this a lot! The color tells a story on its own. The glasses hanging, the fan, the lights above what I assume is a work table--all make this a very nice print. One suggestion, it appears you may have taken this from the side; if you stepped directly in front of this composition you might not have the kind of distracting tilt on the top and bottom. But otherwise, excellent. Link to comment
lee guthrie 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Where is this? I keep looking at all the elements and I really want to know the story. Link to comment
tibor_almasy 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Hi Lee, thank you for your comment and suggestion. This was taken in a Chinese factory near Guangzhou city. This room was in fact very crowded, but I noticed this corner and the window (painted by the workers so no one can see what's going on inside, I guess). Those glasses hanging there are belong to them, too. Thanx for looking! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2009 This is exquisite. I'm content to look at it without knowing any part of the real story. One is in a Chinese landscape painting, then jarred out of it by the prosaic elements of the modern industrial world. Your accidental viewpoint works very well with the other accidentals in this image. Link to comment
