Do the effects from the cross-screen on-camera filter help add to the

overall look? Photo was taken with a 4 second exposure in front of the

Bellagio Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. I also took some

without the filter. Only adjustment made on the computer was to add

the frame. Also, I am trying to take a poll regarding the frame. If

you care to comment on the frame, please do so. I have mixed

responses so far. As always, your comments and ratings on the photo

are appreciated.

I like the image (except for the filter) but I do not like the frame. It is competing with the image too much. I read in a magazine abuot a darkroom printer that never puts borders on his prints because the borders (or in this case frame) competes with the image too much. Why take great image and then put a big frame around it?

I agree with the above commentator jason hudson. The image would've been much better (in my mind) without the effect. The frame though a lot of thought and effort has been put in it, is doing a bit too much.
