Great shot. Having the rider out of frame like that punches up the drama and turns it into a high-risk aerial act.

Contrary to what was said before, the framing is what disturbs me the most... I think that showing the legs would make the shot much more effective..

But that's just my opinion...

Too bad you didn't have more sky. The heavy cropping on the legs really detracts from the shot in my opinion. Otherwise, great shot.

great idea and execution, if this is the shot and not PS imaging. if PS, the cropping might be too tight. jh

Just to add to my comment about the rider out of frame and why I like it: the viewer has to contribute his imagination a bit here, and that is always a good thing.

This isn't photoshop.. its a guy in mid-air :)

 

I had another shot with his legs in the picture... but his toes are cut off and so is the lower part of the bike.

 

I found this one was more pronounced for some reason.
