Wow, Great photo. It wasn't at all what I thought it was by looking at the thumbnail. I like the framing, but it might be almost too dramatic...

Really like the idea and technically this is done well.......just seems to be missing something...

Maybe cuz' I'm not there...:-)

Dennis mentions that it seems to be 'missing' something - perhaps that something is the sense that it was taken from inside a cave - the black across the top - perhaps some flash could have been used to just suggest the rocks?

Phillip's suggestion about a flash is a good one, but this still a great photo none the less! Very creative! I really like this!

Great photo but I have a suggestion. It is to crop. Either crop out some of the black, still leaving the framing to create a panorama look or crop the whole thing and end it with out the frame on the side.

great shot, i don't agree about cropping it.Looks like as you are viewing it through a binocular..

wonder what the guy at the right doing !!

When I saw this in the thumbnail view, I immediately thought that it looked like a bunch of kayakers at night in front of a mountain range. This effect from the cropping and front-lighting is only enhanced because you didn't use a flash. Ignore any naysayers that suggest otherwise.

I think it puts the viewer in the position of a predator stalking the kayakers. It's a great photo. The reflection on the water gives it a nice symmetry.
