And I mean cool in terms of cold.

Very cold and kind of threatning, it's almost a robot instead of a human.

 

I don't know if that was your intention or not, but I kinda like it, specialy the way that you used the reflections of the softbox in her glasses.

Intriguing image - it looks (to me) like a drawing with the tones the way they are. How did you achieve the "blown-back" hair? Did you use a fan, or is it just naturally that way? Minor nit: there's a couple light areas; one spot on her belt, and another band across her belly below her belt -- scanning artifacts? Cheers.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner, I just found this section of the site. Still exploring... The hair was done with a fan and the pose intentially static otherwise. I wanted everything precise and edgy. I got the catchlight idea from test shots and wanted to make an image that was more graphic than expressive and somewhat inanimate. The tonal flaws are probably in the scan. Sorry I didn't catch them.
