soltani 0 Posted August 7, 2006 The idea of setting them free is great. A well done photo. IMO the black border doesn't match. hope you don't mind. Link to comment
dsc1 0 Posted August 7, 2006 any kind of feedback is a good feedback. i ask also the old woman about her business. she said she inherit it from her parents. somebody have to do the dirty job so that luck in this world will cycle. your comment is very much appreciated. regards DSC. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Demos stands for different. I saw the small one, nice black,yellow.., your name.. and SMILED. Every comment was in that smile! What I do think? Make him smaller than the small one.. Make a STAMP of it. Bigger, I do see that net. Big, it is a good one, small "the best." (macro is of course a total different story.)Well, and a stamp.. unfortunaly they have to ask for it.. Sthenes,Hi! Link to comment
dsc1 0 Posted August 7, 2006 i'm also a technical man. as much as possible i always try to avoid commenting or answering comments without proper verification. if you check the forum you will see that a lot of photographers are complaining about washout image of their photos. the image become noisy or over sharp. color changes after uploading the image to PN. we used different monitors, we used different software, we used different operating system. the quality of the sample photo we see in the screen is not really the quality of the image saw by the owner of the photo or sender.commenting on print copy approved by the owner of the photo is simple and easy. for these reason its quite hard to comment about color, lighting overexposed or under exposed. even up to the extend of the composition. artist are very different from each other. about whether to crop or use PS. i will recommend crop it gives more justice to the photo. i only recommend PS to photographer who is fun of using PS. like in the case of ms. Deelen she is not fun of using PS and she's more of doing historical recording. in my case instead of argument i try to understand what the other fellow is trying to say. infact for me 90% of my photo adjustment and setting is done in my camera. i just used PS to crop and frame. for me incouraging and dicussing photos with other photo artist is full of joy. so instead of focusing to the technical part of the photo i always look at the artistic. believed me you the most sensitive people in the world are the artist. thanks for the wonderful comment. best regards DSC. jeverz 0 Posted August 7, 2006 First of all, thanks for your interesting comments! I dont know the name of the bird with the insect. She was feeding her baby-bird. I have a photo of that too, but it didnt came out so nice. I saw this bird in the Zoo. About your photo with the lady and birds; Very nice and colorfull photo, it shows something of another culture which is always interesting to me. Regards Ellen. Link to comment

andrea allison 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Another very well done street shot Demosthenes! I find the lady's expression very interesting. The color of all the birds is beautiful, a lot of "luck" in that cage :). It is really nice you sharing a bit of information on your photo's and on yourself as a photographer , it personalizes your work which gives the viewer even more appreciation of what he/she see's. Thank you dsc Kindest Regards Andrea Link to comment
