31 Backyard Bridge

photo that I remember well because I was on a hike and looked over

while on a bridge and saw this in someone's back yard and remember

saying, boy, nice backyard. Tough to mow though.

What was it that you liked about this scene? It is an interesting backyard, but aesthetically, I don't think this picture seems much more than a record snapshot... the bridge is centred in this picture, and from here it just looks like a plank laid over a stream. There's little here that is particularly compelling to a viewer whose only experience of the place is via this photograph.

Thanks for your comment. Art is a matter of tast, I like the way the light hits the left shoreline, the richness of the dark and light in the water and the sunspots on the lawn. The bridge is but one part of this photo. Again, thanks,

I like the way the shadows play on the water and the greens of the grassy / mossy sides. This must be an awsome place to live, if it is as cool and inviting as it seems to be in the shot. I can almost hear the water lapping at the rocks.

Thanks, I was on a hike and walked across a bridge upon which I am standing and was struck by the cool backyard with a river running through it. Light was just right.
