At f14 the action is freezed by the strobe already... strobe duration is much shorter than 1/640 of a second with all better brands so I don't really see much of a point here.

 

The pose looks unnatural and the image kinda boring. The lighting focusses too much on the face and breast ... the arms and legs like to get some light too at times...

I just came from a critique on one of your other photos and did not like that she is ignoring me and looking off somewhere else. I came over to the portfolio and most of your closeup portraits are looking straight at me and I like that much better. This one is not but it works better the way you have it. This one is like a fashion shot in Vogue You deserve a 7,7 just for what you spent on the camera :-)

Alec, this is one of my favorites, one a great capture, im not qualified to critique your work, i to one day would love to shoot this quality, thanks for sharing you knowledge and skill.
