This looks really nice -- almost an upwards sunburst! Was it that visible to the "naked" eye?

 

The telegraph poles (why do i call them that? -- when was the last time anyone sent a telegraph...) are a slight distraction, but then if you crop out the bottom it's really not the same shot.

Thanks. I slightly adjusted the levels and contrast a bit to bring out the detail of the 'rays', but it was truly as beautiful as it appears, and colors are true. I do wish there was a different foreground as well. I

This is my favorite of your portfolio.

The shape of the clouds is evocative of other things, other shapes..it is as if it does not belong in the sky...yet it obviously does. It feels organic.

Fantastic capture. It looks as though the light has blown a hole in the clouds, just fighting to become another sunny day.

Thanks Ken. Its was a very surreal scene that stayed around for far longer than I thought it would. I was lucky to be around for it.
