hummingbirds Hummer 1

Hi folks,

 

Bird photography is something I've always wanted to take a crack at,

so I'm going to start submitting some of my early stuff to see how

it holds up. I've got several more to come, including shots of

birds in flight, but I have limited time and this was the first one

I had a chance to work on. See the details for technical info.

Hi ken, it is always good to see people intersted in bird photography.

The photo is very nice however imho i have the following comments:

1. The image for my eyes is a bit over exposed, if you shot it in raw try bringing the exposure like 0.3-0.4 down (or around that figure).

 

2. try boosting the contrast of the image a bit in PS

Well ... for a first attempt (come on, it can't really be ;-)) this is pretty darn good. What an interesting composition. A very unique viewpoint. Well done!
